Vitkotnik presents: Nosferatu - 'Eine Symphonie des Grauens' or 'A Symphony of Terror'. A monochrome game based on the 1922 silent film by F.W. Murnau. Successful estate agent Thomas Hutter, young and newly wed, is instructed by his superior to visit Count Orlok in the Carpathians. He is assigned to finalise the Count’s purchase of several estates in his home town Wisborg. While signing the documents he drops a medallion bearing the image of his wife Ellen. Instantly the Count is taken by Ellen’s beauty! The Vampire numbs Hutter with a single bite and at once leaves by ship for Wisborg to conquer Ellen to be eternally his. The cargo on his ship: coffins with native soil...but countless rats as well. The ‘Hildegard’ reaches Wisborg with none alive. Orlok and his rats abandon ship and he starts the quest for Ellen, who is hiding in one of the towns many cellars. The residents of Wisborg realise too late that the plague has hit their beautiful town... Meanwhile Orloks henchmen have set up a coffin in one of the cellars to function as a first retreat. Hutter, recovered from Orloks bite, is riding to Wisborg in a frenzy to save his spouse and end the spell of evil. The player moving Count Orlok tries to find and seduce Ellen before sunrise. The player moving Hutter tries to prevent this and tempts to destroy Orlok’s coffin.

Alde Garde presents: In 1809 the Tyroleans rebelled against their Bavarian ruler. Aided by a small Austrian army they try to defeat an invading Bavarian/French force. We present a 15mm Napoleonic game situated at the foot of the Alps. Rules: Shako 2.

Sarstedt Wargamers; The Battle for Nova 37. "It is the duty of every member of the Imperium to defend the holy truth of the Emperor. Every device shall be deployed and all manpower be exploited in order to defend the ideals of the Imperium." This is one of the main principals of human existence within the Imperium and it was on the planet of Nova 37 that once again the 222nd Cadian Regiment had to prove their skill in battle against an overwhelming horde of Orks and Tyranids.
The Tau forces in the sector were quick to respond to the sudden danger and sent members of the water cast to the Ultramarine Strike Cruiser to secure an alliance between the Imperium and the Tau Empire during the campaign against the Tyranid and Ork invasions.
Meanwhile two small Eldar strikeforces were scouting on the surface of Nova 37 after their farseers had sensed danger. The source came from a small contingence of Thousand Sons Chaos Marines. If the Thousand Sons were not stopped the planet would be doomed . The Eldar were not interested in the conflicts between the Orks, Tyranids, Tau and the Imperium and vowed to battle any side which got in their way of stopping the Chaos threat. The Thousand Sons readied themselves for a ritual which would take many days to complete. They utilised all of their skills in order to manipulate a large force of orks and tyranids into an unsteady alliance to wage war on the planets surface thus providing the distraction which was needed to complete the ancient ritual. This ritual, if spoken correctly, would reap great vengeance amongst the population of the Imperium, turning the whole planet to ash. Another dire problem on the planets surface was the coming of a nurgle daemon who pledged his alleigance to the Thousand Son sorceror. This daemon would be of great help in the defence of the chaos artefact.
The tide of evil must be stopped the question is can it be done in time to save the planet?
Teams: Eldar+Eldar(3000pts), Imperium+Ultramarines+Tau Empire(9000pts), Tyranids+Orks+Thousand Sons(9000pts).

The true score of German secret diplomacy however is the delivery of construction plans for a novel weapon of disastrous destruction powers through Kensei Nakamura, a Japanese top-spy. The so-called "Wotan-Bomb" or "Dragon's Breath" in Japanese has secretly been engineered by a German-Japanese scientific team in Tokyo. The purpose of this machinery of destruction is to empower both nations to divide the world among themselves.
In such turbulent times however, shortly after the Boxer Rebellion, no secret is kept for long and the Kaiser's enemies gained knowledge of these diabolic plans already weeks ago. No wonder they are plotting to intercept the handover and at least destroy the prototype and plans, if not steal them for themselves.
Current Situation: For two days already high ranking German and Japanese scientists have been assessing the plans under supervision of Nakamura and the Kaiser, when intelligence reveals Tsingtao to be closed in by allied naval and ground forces.
In order to quickly react to the threat, the British Empire has diverted troops of the Army of India already under way to Africa and commissioned Sir Henry Mortimer Durand to take care of the situation, who in turn chose to let his close ally, Mohammad Yaqub Khan participate and bring in his personal retinue.
Thus taken by surprise and with their strength scattered around the many consulates, the Germans barely manage to improvise ad hoc fortifications in the hope of resisting until the arrival of a relief force ordered to force march.
Coming into the bargain are several factions of Boxer-gangs who, at issue how to overthrow the intruding detested "long-noses", have decided to go with the lesser evil and rise against the respectively other imperialist party.
Thoughtful adepts of history will not be surprised at the appearance of a whole arsenal of the developed steam age, including steamtanks, rayguns and airborne machinery alongside miscellaneous colonial and regular troops.

La Compagnie du Roi: "Kursk, July the 8th 1943". While the battle rages for three days, the 4.Panzer Armee has to size control of Syrtsevo, a small village lying on the road to Kursk. Russian forces have established a solid defensive perimeter with the remnants of the 6th Army. Their orders are simple and clear, hold until the arrival of the reinforcements... This historical engagement will be played using Blitzkrieg, a game system developed by Hervé Caille, a French designer. The game is seen by many as an ASL adaptation to figures games.

De Witte Ridder - Leopoldsburg: “Battle For Hechtel” a 6mm BKC battle. On the 3rd September 1944 the Welsh Guards reached Brussels, with them Liberating Brussels, and the Antwerp being fallen with in to the Allied hands on September 4th, the decision was made to push on and try and secure the bridgehead over the northern Rhine. Still in the lead, the Welsh Guards Group pressed on the Albert Canal at Beringen where the bridge had been partially destroyed. Under heavy fire the Welsh Guards crossed, they forced their way through Helchteren and on towards Hechtel where they were held up by murderous anti tank fire. The Battalion attacked Hechtel on the 7th September but after repeated assaults did not capture it until the 12th September, Hechtel was one of the bloodier battles fought by both the 1st and 2nd Battalion, even though on the last day they had support of the artillery and mortars and machine-guns of the Northumberland Fusiliers. Will the Guards be able to take Hechtel and the important crossroad to Lommel and Eindhoven in time before the launch of “Operation Market Garden”?

Rheindahlen Wargames Club: The game we would like to put on is 'Pig Tickler' which will be a participation game for anyone to play. Lancers on Unicycles chase around after a steam driven pig trying to score hits on the pig. One lancer is controlled by each player, but the referee, pig & two stokers are controlled by everyone! The player scoring 5 hits on the pig wins, but has to avoid being taken out by the pig or other players. Pig Tickling is a sport for gentlemen to uphold the family name and Regimental Honour in the age of Pax Limpopo.
